[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] Riveting/Fascinating facts about the area:
  • Budapest is a confluence of admiring architecture and stylistic masterworks: from the Parliament House, which melds Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance styles, to the Turkish-influenced Bauhaus-style buildings, the Buda Castle and the Great Synagogue, there is much history and extravagance to be discovered in the city.
  • The Romans founded the Aqiuncum, a network of thermal baths, which still exist in parts of Óbuda. Budapest is still called the ‘Queen of Water’, and in 1934, was named the ‘thermal city’ because of its thermal baths – Király, Széchenyi, Gellért and Rudas.

Interesting people:

Gyulai graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Budapest as a graphic artist, and won the Gold Medal at the Florence Graphic Biennale, 1970.
