Tucked away in the Al Hajar Mountains 2,000 metres above sea level, Alila Jabal Akhdar is a retreat for nature lovers and adventure travellers, offering rustic luxury and much inspiration on a sun-soaked ridge.

Away from the bustle of modern life, the resort is surrounded by mountains, uninhabited villages, caves, hamlets and canyons, and offers an escape to nature and absolute solitude. There is a lovely selection of luxury villas and suites, that have private pools and panoramic views of the Al Hajar Mountains.

Each room has beautiful, contemporary interiors with traditional accents, and modern amenities such as a flat-screen satellite TV, a minibar, tea and coffee facilities, a balcony or terrace, and bathrooms with luxurious Spa Alila amenities. Whether you’re looking for a comfortable mountain hideaway or a haven in solace with spectacular views, the resort is designed to inspire. The resort also offers a variety of on-site, daily activities, such as hiking, yoga and cooking classes.

The Juniper Restaurant serves up a rich variety of dishes using seasonal local produce, and is a must-visit for guests. Apart from its international cuisine, the eatery evokes the golden age of Arabic cuisine, influenced by trade routes that stretched from the Middle East to the Mediterranean region in the splendour of the resort’s natural setting.
