Reminiscent of the monumental ruins of an ancient central African civilization, Tsala’s impressive stone-masonry entrance flanked by water features leads to a magnificent foyer supported by Blackwood columns. The elaborate afro-baroque décor’s earthy colors, rich textures and handcrafted fittings are inspired by the diverse cultures of Africa, with the sophistication of the western world.
The views are breathtaking, whether from the exotic dining room, intimate glassed-in lounge, or large open decks high above the forest floor. Tsala is a splendid place, encircled by lush forests extending across rolling valleys, towards the distant hills. Guests can enjoy a collection of books in the hotel lounge area, as well as a wine cellar and a restaurant with several deck areas to enjoy their evening with a delicious meal and some exquisite wine.
Each suite and villa has its own private infinity pool with comfortable sun-loungers to sink into. The restaurant uses ingredients from Tsala’s kitchen gardens, and the resort works closely with local communities and charities to ensure the future of the reserve’s biodiversity.
